When I’m 1000000

I thought to share-forward a sweet article/blog I just read in this month’s Communications of the ACM‘s blog section, which suggests how we conceptualize age in bit boundaries as well as the decimal system (or well, theorizes about it, perhaps).

The title of this post, “When I’m 1000000” is “When I’m 64” 🙂

The only umbrage I want to take with the author is his classification of the space between 100000 and 111111 as “middle age”. I don’t think of 32 as middle aged! But happy [belated] birthday Professor Adams.
