Music

Since 2018, I’ve been composing and recording electronic music using Tidal Cycles, in an art form known as “live code”. I wrote about the algorave and corresponding workshop that I co-organized with Sarah Groff Hennigh-Palermo on this blog, which may help explain some of the background/more on this artistic domain.

I post my songs to beats.thewebivore.com, and all of the source code for my published songs is on GitHub. Kind of a spoiler, but the source code tells you somewhat little about how the song will sound, as the performer/composer is integral to the creation of the work.

On occasion I perform live, either solo, or with my band, CatFans, where Sarah Peony provides visuals (programmed live using Hydra) and I provide the beats.

Enjoy (or don’t, it really makes no difference to me)
